OUTFIT YOUR HOME WITH THE RUGGED RELIABILITY OF A COLEMAN® HOME COMFORT SYSTEMS
AIR CONDITIONING
Coleman® comfort is yours all summer long with our split system air conditioner design. This design has two parts: an indoor unit, such as a furnace or air handler, and an outdoor unit. The outdoor unit works by cooling a refrigerant, which in turn cools air in the indoor unit for circulation through your home. Indoor and outdoor units are designed to work together. When the air conditioner is properly matched with a furnace or air handler, you get maximum efficiency and longer system life.

FURNACES

Coleman® has advanced furnace design in recent years to be far safer and more efficient than older designs. This is the result of improvements in the burner, the ignition, and the blower motor. Furnace heating efficiency is measured by an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) percentage. A higher AFUE percentage indicates a more efficient furnace. And when a Coleman® furnace is properly matched with a Coleman® air conditioner or air handler, you will enjoy extended system life and maximum efficiency all year around.

HEAT PUMPS
Coleman® comfort is yours all season long with our split system heat pump design. In summer, it draws heat out of indoor air to cool your home. In winter, it uses outside air to warm your home, because even at low outdoor temperatures, outside air always has heat in it. Many heat pumps have a booster electrical-resistance heater that automatically provides supplemental heat if needed.

PACKAGED SYSTEMS
With a Coleman® packaged system, all equipment is built into an outdoor unit, usually on a concrete slab or other platform. The "package" that gives it its name provides central air conditioning during the summer and heat in colder months. Available models include: Electricity for resistance heating and cooling, gas for heating and electricity for cooling, heat pump models using electricity.

AIR HANDLERS
A home comfort system has two parts: an outdoor unit, such as an air conditioner or heat pump, and an indoor unit. The indoor unit (air handler) contains a fan and a coil or heat exchanger. The coil or heat exchanger allows indoor air to blow through it and transfer heat, circulating cool air from an air conditioner in the summer and warm air from your furnace or heat pump in the winter.
